Major Accountabilities / Principal Responsibilities
Matching and Settlement for cash equity, F&O and other products covered by SG Japan Securities (SGKK) Back office
Client confirmation generation
Reconciliation between internal systems and BO tools
Day-to-day settlement process of Japanese equities for equity financing trade (Stock Lending & Borrowing), agency and prop trading (Cash Equity, Futures and Listed Options)
Ensure all trades have been matched and settled. Escalate any issue and complete resolution in a timely manner
Manage margin call process, including repricing, matching and settlement
Engage the Technology department, by raising issues and ideas to improve applications and upgrade our operational control framework
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's activities by proposing and implementing new ideas and participating to process reviews
Support transformation projects (Information systems, processes) by sharing knowledge, contributing to the design of new processes and rolling them out successfully within the team
Key Skill Areas & Knowledge Required
2+ years' experience in working in Operations (BO / MO)
Product knowledge for Japanese equity and Investment Trust
Relevant experience in JASDEC matching/settlement, with exposure to Japanese BO systems
Solid experience in supporting Japanese sensitive clients
Accuracy / Swiftness / Attention to detail
Positive thinking and change mindset
Ability to navigate effectively in a global organization (departments and countries)
Basic IT Skills (MS Excel, Word), able to formulate functional specifications for the Technology department
