About the Job
You will have the ability to formulate a view on various industries and various sectors. You will conduct credit research on a variety of industrial and service sectors along with developing industry/sector expertise including key credit metrics. By leading a corporate credit analysis process, including interacting with issuers, their bankers and attorneys, you will develop a credit opinion with presentations in writing and in person to credit committees. You will provide input into credit analyses for published and private reports for issuers and investors and monitor a wide variety of companies.
Have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, management or a related field. Master's degree is preferred
Have at least 4-8 years of work experience in a financial analyst role within a corporate bank or other financial institution, credit training (including financial statement analysis). Research experience is a plus
Have the ability to conduct onsite due-diligence and interact with issuers and their bankers as part of the rating process
Have a good understanding of capital markets and relevant experience in credit, fixed income research or capital markets
Have excellent communication (verbal and written skills including the ability to publish industry research) and Excel skills
Are able to work as an integral part of a team and across disciplines in a challenging and dynamic environment
Have the ability to manage time and resources in a fast growing company
