Transaction Origination: Through a solutions dialog, originate transactions across products, leveraging SRS's global expertise.
Partner with sales teams to distribute risk and develop strategic dialogs with clients focused on opportunities to use market products to solve client problems.
Interface with banking to increase markets dialog with clients, provide markets expertise into the banking dialog, and originate market's transactions from banking advisory mandates.
Identify opportunities, develop bespoke solutions and help generate market revenues
To partner with Client facing teams and product areas to develop bespoke product offerings for specific client situations
To partner with sales teams and help them to develop strategic dialogs with clients
To help manage pricing, structuring and execution of transactions
The SRS team works across all asset classes with the goal of solving FI and Corporate client needs which require delivery of an integrated solution, sometimes bringing together different product capabilities of Citi, other times being more consultative in a single asset class. The team operates on the private side working closely with Bankers, Capital Markets Origination team and Markets teams, targeting senior client side executives.
The team provides:
Bespoke capital and financing solutions
Specialist content and input for partners across Markets, CMO and Banking
Focusing on structured lending and bespoke risk management solutions for both corporates and financial institutions
Working with Citi Banking, Markets and CMO teams and responsible for (a) assisting with originating transactions, (b) the internal approval and credit analysis process, (c) assisting with risk management and associated structuring and pricing discussions
Strong knowledge of derivatives through coursework or prior experience.
Structuring background in either rates or credit would be preferred but not necessary.
Language Skills: Mandarin preferred as the candidate will be working closely with Chinese Clients.
