Within this role you will play a critical role in the development of various software tools, utilities and process automation at ED. Being a very hands-on member of the IT team, you will focus equally on both internal tools and ED's customer facing software utilities.
Manage the internal data quality checking tools including the rules database
Keep our customer facing data quality tracking system up-to date and oversee its maintenance
Constantly update and maintain ED's Data Quality check routines and queries (SQL)
Work on excel templates that interact with ED's loan level data (MS Excel, VBA)
Build software tools and utilities that automate internal processes
Prepare documentation for various tools and processes
Contribute to customer delight and customer experience enhancement related features
Development and support of customer facing tools like EDplus and EDVANCE
Create and manage investor report database for extraction of Investor reports data
Co-ordinate IT issues with ED's IR Data extraction partners
Help ED colleagues with IT related issues
Working in projects
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in the financial sector would be an added advantage
Ability to write Macros using VBA
Ability to write complex queries using standard SQL (MS SQL)
Knowledge of other technologies (MATLAB / ASP.NET) are an added advantages
Ability to write software programs / utilities / tools to automate processes (Scripting / Programming Language)
Analytical and innovative – both in thought process and in execution
Passionate about using technology to solve business problems
Willingness to learn technology and structured finance while on the job
Knowledge of high end IT infrastructure
Hands-on mentality and Self-management skills
English to business standard (written and oral)
