To provide advisory compliance support, including transaction advice to all Electronic businesses; including those activities covered by the Cash, Prime, Solutions and FX trading areas.
To provide compliance advice on new and existing products and all regulatory activities relating to Electronic Trading product design and distribution.
To maintain the compliance control framework across the combined Electronic Trading product businesses.
To undertake compliance monitoring and MI for the Electronic Trading businesses.
Offer policy and regulatory advice to the Electronic Trading desks, including on the application of exchange rules, ESMA regulations and MIFID II requirements.
To work with Legal, Compliance and other support staff across the region and in the other regions in owning, advising on and addressing cross-jurisdictional Electronic Trading compliance matters.
To advise on regulatory changes affecting both the Electronic Trading businesses and wider GM franchise, ensuring appropriate collaboration across GC, Shared Services and the Business.
To identify regulatory or reputational risks within the Electronic Trading space and raise to Business/CCRO management for resolution.
To provide relevant assistance in relation to control and regulatory incidents, audits and reviews within the Electronic Trading businesses.
To review regulatory enquires or any suspicious transaction & order reports generated from the Electronic Trading businesses.
To help develop and deliver high quality compliance training across the GM Business.

You will have significant regulatory experience within an investment bank; preferably within a sales and trading environment.
You should have experience in an advisory compliance role.
Electronic Trading compliance experience across broad range of Equity instruments.
You demonstrate knowledge of European / UK compliance issues and relevant laws and regulations.
You possess excellent inter-personal skills combined with strong character.
You possess the ability to interpret regulation and deliver practical advice.
You have the ability to offer alternative solutions to hard problems.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to train.
Above all, you should be confident, able to use their initiative and possess good judgment, analytical, communication and organisational skills.
