Twenty Financial Services are currently recruiting for a Senior Operational Risk position for an Energy Trading Company in London.
The person filling the role will play a pivotal role in the upkeep and development of the Operational Risk framework. The focus will be on the development, monitoring and testing of the internal control system in order to identify and assess key risks across the business.
Provision of advice, guidance, training and insight to senior stakeholders and wider business areas on the Operational Risk framework.
Development and maintenance of the Operational Risk framework.
Identification and assessment of major risks across key and emerging activities.
Maintenance and implementation of the Risk framework in accordance with industry standard regulations (COSO, Basel 11).
Design of the Risk Control Self- Assessment (RCSA) methodology; tracking and reporting of the relevant activities.
Deliverance of an Energy Trade Risk Management methodology; testing and review of this.
Management and maintenance of the assurance tracker process and returns.
Coordination of the Business Change procedures and following up with relevant business areas.
Testing and controlling performance of processes.
Extensive Operational Risk experience from an Energy Trading Background.
Knowledge and experience of RCSA methodology.
Excellent knowledge of Commodities and the Energy Trading life-cycle.
Strong controls testing experience; experience in implementing control procedures
Experience in implementing new risk frameworks in adherence with external regulatory requirements.
Ability to produce reports and work with large volumes of data.
