Leading International Bank is seeking an experienced AML Professional from an equivalent Bank or a top tier consultancy firm to join the AML Analysis & Strategy team.
This hands-on position will sit in the group functions and be actively involved with defining managing and maintaining a solid AML transaction monitoring infrastructure.
Our client is looking for a dynamic, subject-matter expert with 5+yrs experience in AML analytics, designing and implementing monitoring software, and has significant knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
The main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that the AML risks are being effectively identified and monitored through the use of technology and the outputs are driving exec management decisions
Recommending and implementing effective management mechanisms for AML risks within the business
Work with technology teams to enhance, implement and manage the AML monitoring systems
Analyse and interpret results from monitoring tools to make effective strategic decision.
Identification of the business requirements and business impact of exiting and new regulations
Ensuring that any AML projects are implemented in the business successfully
Ensuring stakeholder engagement, including senior management and the central compliance function
The successful candidate will posses:
Approximately 5+ years experience in AML within financial services ideally from a Big 4 consultancy firm or another leading financial institution
Hands on experience with SAS, SQL and Mantas or equivalent software
A strong understanding of AML principles and guidelines
Keen eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic and ability to think outside of the box
