The company have had a very busy and successful few years, growing their AUM to close to €1bn Euros. They predominantly focus on Commercial Real Estate in the UK, France and Germany, partnering with a range of other high calibre businesses. This role sits within finance but will work very broadly across the business, working with the existing portfolio as well as supporting the investment team with new acquisitions.
This is a highly commercial role which has plenty of scope to grow with the business over the coming years.
Reporting & Controlling:
Prepare consolidated accounts, management reports and questionnaires to investors
Prepare operational, debt and covenant reporting to third party lenders
Review annual accounts
Assist with the preparation of the annual budgets and business plans
Review financial statements for all companies
Prepare asset management fee schedules and ensure timely invoicing
Communicate with service providers including negotiating engagement terms and monitoring performance
Provide direction and guidance to property managers and other third parties (e.g. brokers, technical advisors) on various operational issues
Assist with monitoring leasing activities and be responsible for compiling and analysing
Gather market research
Keep company directors in all jurisdictions informed of all major decisions/changes to underlying assets
Assist with underwriting process including property and financial data, market research and
preparation of approval materials (memos, models etc)
Assist with the transaction execution process including engagement and co-ordination of
third party advisors, funding, structuring and documentation
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
Excellent academic record
Fluency in German
Strong core accounting skills
Experience of either Real Estate, Private equity or asset management
