To perform product due diligence and risk assessment on new investment products before they are being marketed and sold through CBG
Evaluate new product launches and initiatives by performing relevant research and analysis, producing and documenting the product assessment
Scope of coverage includes all investment products (structured deposits, structured notes, unit trusts, etc)
Perform regular monitoring of Product Risk Ratings
Maintain the Master Guidelines and Product Approval Reports for CBG Hong Kong
Review relevant product materials for fair representation of product benefits versus risks
Provide the due diligence coverage for CBG Hong Kong
Fortify the existing infrastructure and process for new and ongoing product due diligence
Enable and assist, where appropriate, CBG Hong Kong's compliance with the Product Approval Policy Guide.
Minimum 8 years of working experience with at least 3 years in product management or relevant fields, preferably with experience in performing due diligence of investment products
Good knowledge of Hong Kong banking industry
Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
Effective communication and people skills
Strong spreadsheet skills; highly analytical and numerate
Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management or related disciplines, with relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA).
