To drive jointly with OTC Clearing Operations Head the development and implementation of the OTC Clearing project
To manage the OTC Clearing Risk Management Department and oversee its day-to-day operation and administration
To continuously enhance the risk management policies and framework for OTC Clearing to cope with developing business needs and changing regulatory requirements. This include, among others, the margining methodology, collateral management, default management, liquidity management and counterparty risk management
To liaise with relevant authorities on regulatory issues
To liaise with market practitioners, Clearing Members, and overseas and mainland clearing houses on OTC clearing risk management related issues
To assess, evaluate and optimize the business and operational models with respect to OTC Clearing Risk Management Department
University degree or equivalent; preferably in Risk Management/Business/ Finance/ Economics/Accounting or a related subject
At least 10 years' relevant experience, of which at least 6 years at a management level with proven risk management experience on OTC products, in particular rates and FX
Sound knowledge of the International, Hong Kong and Mainland market best practices and development associated with the risk management measures on clearing and settlement of OTC derivatives products, and industry standards applicable to CCPs on clearing OTC derivatives, such as CPMI-IOSCO Recommendations and ISDA Protocols
Well versed in rules and procedures of clearing houses, exchanges and clearing platforms used by overseas OTC CCP
Excellent managerial, analytical, strategic thinking, networking, interpersonal and communication skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
