In this role you will be looking to exceed client expectations, so as to enhance and grow their investments, in my clients business. To manage, develop and enhance genuine investment products desired bythe market. To implement all investment processes and provide high quality service to clients and colleagues.
This role provides fundamental economic research and analysis to support investment products and the development of new products. The job holder will provide regular but also ad-hoc written analysis and presentation materials to the research department and the client team.
Key result Areas: Provide fundamental economic analysis on and insights into developed and emerging market economies, currencies and their return drivers on an ad-hoc and regular basis. Produce analysis to support the research team and the client team, including reactive research requested from departments, clients and investment consultants, and bespoke analysis Develop fundamental insights into the nature of alpha and beta returns in currency markets (including an understanding of the behaviour of market participants) with an aim to enhance research Contribute to research projects to develop and enhance systematic investment strategies across a range of asset classes, especially currency Develop familiarity with research and statistical tools with an aim to developing successful investment strategies Develop and maintain databases with economic indicators, such as tracking interest and inflation rates across the world, official reserves, etc In time, maintain relationships with counterparts at research institutions and the wider external community.
Interaction (internal and external levels of contact and relationships). Extensive internal relationships, particularly with Research Department and other teams. May in due course represent the company externally with clients, investment consultants and their research departments.
