On a daily basis, a Credit Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Prioritize and timely processes incoming credit requests, checking completion of package received from RM and ensure timely completion of credit approval packages, including any interim requests
Work closely with Relationship Managers to prepare new credit proposals and annual reviews on commercial customers under SME segment (incl. credit and financial analysis, and provide recommendations)
Maintain an in depth knowledge of Citi credit policies and practices and applicable local and US regulations to assist the Business in achieving compliance and satisfactory internal and external audit results
Continue to generate ideas for improving lending process efficiency
Learning about a broad range of industries and developing a deep level of expertise on Citi's credit policies and practices
Proactively participating in training and mentorship programs to expand their skill set and network to position themselves for long-term success within the Citi Commercial Bank
Conducting research on prevailing industry and market conditions that are key inputs into the CCB's business development activities
Handle credit enhancement projects and formulate related guidelines and procedures
Cultivating their own position as a future leader within the business community, getting involved in local organizations to start building a strong network
Typically, someone in this role has the following experience/background:

Strong analytical skills with ability to process and prioritize complex information

Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients
Degree holder with at least 3 solid years of experience in a credit analyst role in commercial bank lending, remedial management or relationship management
Candidates with 3-5 years of credit approval experience may be considered for a Credit Approver role
The ability to communicate effectively with Sales and Risk teams in order to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
