Our client is a successful pan-European mid cap buyouts and growth capital investment firm. They are focused on high-growth opportunities in Western and Northern Europe. With a highly successful track record and on-going raising of a new fund, they are looking to grow their presence in the German market, with a dedicated investment team and a local office, most likely in Munich. They are looking to hire a Vice President who can draw on their deal track record to help establish the firm in the DACH region.
With support from the wider established fund structure, you will join an entrepreneurial, dedicated team focused on establishing the firm's presence in the DACH region
You will be involved in the full deal cycle with a strong focus on origination, due diligence, leading execution, as well as mentoring juniors where required
You will work closely with management teams of the portfolio companies post–acquisition to help them reach their growth goals and finally lead them to exit
You have gained initial training from a top tier investment bank or strategy consultancy with a strong focus on private equity clients
You have since built a track record in growth capital investments or mid cap buyouts, from a leading private equity firm
An MBA degree from leading business schools such as Harvard, INSEAD, Wharton or Stanford are preferred
Affinity to TMT and digitalisation is welcomed
Our client is looking for highly motivated, self-driven and entrepreneurial candidates, who will play a key role in growing the firm's success in the DACH region
Strong communication skills and experience in leading a team of juniors is a must
You must be a native-level German speaker with excellent English language skills
