Th sales originator HK & SEA is responsible for managing the key relationships with commercial airlines, OEM's, and lessor clients across the region.
Opportunity to join a dynamic leasing company in growth mode as a key member of the Commercial/Origination team.
Work with CCO and other senior executives in implementing the commercial strategy of the business.
Responsible for originating transactions from, and "covering" airlines in, Asia region.
Potentially assist in other non-Asia based coverage efforts in conjunction with commercial/coverage team.
To develop and maintain strong relationships with the first and second tier Asia based airlines with a view to sourcing aircraft leasing opportunities.
To source sale and lease remarketing opportunities for our clients fleet as and when aircraft come off lease.
To act as the relationship manager for airlines operating existing Asia based aircraft.
To help risk team in producing credit analysis for underlying obligors in a transaction such as airlines or lessors, as applicable.
To assist in producing internal credit papers for each transaction and work with other members of the team through each step of the deal approval process through to the closure of a transaction.
Liaise with all relevant parties both internal and external to ensure all ongoing reporting requirements are met and resolve all deal related issues on a timely basis.
The successful candidate will need a proven track record of success and delivery with the commercial aviation leasing sector covering HK & SEA region.
Strong understanding of the aviation industry and fundamentals around aircraft leasing and financing.
Proven ability to originate aviation leasing/financing opportunities.
Relationship Management and communication skills: Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key external (airlines/lessors etc.) and internal stakeholders. Ability to communicate the our clients business to their clients.
Strong organisational ability combined with a proactive approach.
To operate at all times as a team player.
Regulatory: Understand the relevant regulations surrounding clients. Understanding and knowledge of required regulations.
