We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Business Banking - Central Manager I.
Maximise the region's business /assets growth and ensuring the region meets its AOP revenue targets;
Manage the credit quality of the region's lending portfolio by early identification of problematic accounts;
Provide credit support to the CMB branches, credit officers and executives by having joint visits, assist in negotiations, provide guidance on sector risk and industry risk, assist in structuring credit facilities and seeking approval on credit issues on behalf of branches and RM's ;
Contribute to the development of credit skills of the credit officers /executives in the region by participating in the recruitment of mid-career recruits and identify training needs of the regions' RMs as well as on the job coaching and mentoring of the region's RMs and BDMs;
Ensure all credit audit recommendations for each branch in the region are implemented;
Implement credit guidelines/projects for the region;
Review and develop simple Business Banking asset acquisition initiatives by proposing and driving new approaches on Business Banking credit evaluation that can be applied nationwide.
Qualifications Skills & Attributes
At least 5 years experience as an executive in the Bank with exposure in Business Banking /corporate Banking, GTRFs and credit function.
Good interpersonal and lateral thinking skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A team player with an energetic and flexible working style.
