Accurate and timely processing of payments for supplier invoices and T&E expenses through regular payment cycles and one off urgent payments
Ensuring all payments have been recorded correctly, correctly approved and paid from the correct bank account.
Preparing reports for cash flow and payment analysis.
Resolving disputed items with the assistance of the managers.
Responding appropriately to queries from vendors and employees.
Internal Accounting Controls
Assisting Financial Accountants with AP Trade Adjustment reconciliations - this involves reconciling vendors accounts and correcting entries on AP module
Ensuring that all accounting policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Global Accounts Payable
3-5 years Accounts Payable experience. (AP Workflow), Experience of working in a similar role or shared service centre for at least 1 year
B Com / M Com / CA Inter / MBA in Finance
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of using bank portals for payments and different payment methods
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Good interpersonal skills
Must have knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft Financial systems
Must have good organizational and follow-up skills
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Shift timing - 5:30pm to 2:30am/ 6:30pm to 3:30am (US shift); open to work for extended hours
