The key responsibilities for the role are:
Develop strong product and organisational knowledge in order to better assist the sales directors with asset raising and book growth
Co-ordinate sales meetings, campaigns and follow-ups in a timely manner: o Develop and document a clear strategic asset raising plan together with assigned sales directors o Together with sales directors identify target prospects andactivity initiatives o Monitor and assess activity together with sales directors making necessary changes to improve effectiveness o Arrange and attend internal pre-meets ahead of client meetings o Co-ordinate meetings – set up conference calls, book rooms, arrange catering requirements and source meeting material o Provide meeting follow-up material
Produce high quality presentations needed for sales engagements: o Take ownership of the process of creating presentations through internal co-ordination with stakeholders based on the objective of the engagement o Pro-actively work towards presentation content development o Printing and binding of presentations
Contribute to a deeper understanding of opportunity set: o Perform country, sector and prospect research to provide input to targeting and campaign activity o Actively use marketing analytics (e.g. Morningstar, eVestment) to better understand the prospect and competitor space o To use these insight to help sales directors deliver better sales engagements
Maintain and develop the client relationship management system – Salesforce: o Use Salesforce as a critical tool in executing and monitoring all sales activity o Ensure correct recording of all sales activities as well as maintain the prospect pipeline in Salesforce o Maintain various prospect entries in SalesforceEnsure that all portfolio manager travel is properly processed through Salesforce requests o Act as Salesforce super user liaising with the internal Salesforce team for input into system developments
Assist in ensuring that agreements are completed in a timely manner
Examples of other responsibilities are: o Assist with other internal team tasks and management information o Assist in reviewing management information data and ensure correct allocations o Assist with specific project work as an when required o Provide administrational support to the team as and when required o Work together with and cover for other Associates during absence
