Group Architecture and Portfolio Management division, as part of Group COO, is ensuring that Erste Group "does the right things" in "Change the Bank".
The Group Portfolio Management department is responsible for managing the Group Projects Portfolio, including project demand challenge and prioritization, investment planning and management, individual project capacity planning and overall project portfolio interdependencies, co-ordination with other divisions and impacted entities, as well as monitoring the development of individual projects, and overseeing them on behalf of the Group COO.
analyze and understand portfolio structure from an objective, deliverable and scope perspective with special emphasis on project inter-dependencies
analyze portfolio performance, scope, timeline and issue impacts, prepare scenarios and recommend changes in investment priorities to achieve Goals
identify, understand and track project related issues and challenges, determine which are at variance with expectations, and escalate to the respective decision bodies
prepare and negotiate executive level decision material to resolve or mitigate identified content or resource inter-dependencies
support the Portfolio Managers to perform project and portfolio prioritization by advising executive management on resolution options for inter-dependencies, issues and challenges of major initiatives or Portfolios
contribute to and support the periodic project and portfolio reviews
maintain personal relations with respective project managers and business owners to achieve trusted relationship
have a result and customer-oriented personality with excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities, as well as the ability to argue positions in conflicting environments
have outstanding communication, negotiation and persuasion skills, and the ability to visualize and communicate complex subjects on an executive management level
are fluent in Business English (good German knowledge is an advantage)
hold a university degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent working experience
have 5+ years business analysis experience in a banking or finance environment
possess strong project experience with 3-5 years in highly complex environments
