Remark, the events and publications division of Acuris is looking for a Research Analyst to join its team based in Central London.
Your primary responsibility will be to prepare research for thought leadership reports and publications on a variety of topics related to corporate finance and business strategy for blue-chip clients including investment banks, professional services firms, law firms and corporates.
You will be expected to develop briefs and carry out research using surveys and Acuris' proprietary M&A and capital markets data.
Currently, Remark publishes around 100 thought leadership reports globally per year.
Core duties include:
Preparing and analysing data using Excel
Preparing surveys on business and financial topics including M&A, corporate finance and strategy
Developing reports and features based on surveys and financial market data
Developing research ideas for new business pitches and proposals
Preparing briefs for clients, other editors and external journalists
Working with senior editors to ensure highest standards of copy
To keep up to date on market trends
Required skills and experience:
Experience in statistical analysis and research
Excellent Excel skills
Knowledge of survey techniques and methodologies an advantage
Knowledge of corporate finance, M&A and Private Equity an advantage
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work within tight deadlines and keen organisational skills
Ability to work across a number of disciplines and subjects
Ability to quickly assimilate information on new sectors/regions/market trends
