Your role UBS Securities LLC seeks Directors, Research Analysts / Medical Supplies & Devices in New York, NY to research and analyze publicly traded equities in the Medical Supplies & Devices sector in the US and globally. Analyze and create financial models, create and maintain market models, product level sales forecasting, and analysis of stock performance/valuation data for companies in the Medical Supplies & Devices sector. Track developments related to sector specific company issues, legislative issues, litigation, patent issues, and product pipelines. Write financial reports to highlight trends, opportunities/risks, financial performance outlook, and interpret news at a company and industry level. Communicate with institutional investment clients on a regular basis, developing and maintaining client relationships and conveying opinions on stocks and investment ideas. Develop and implement surveys to support primary market research. Coordinate, manage and execute investor events and field trips involving clinicians and corporate management teams. Qualified

Your team You will work with the Investment Bank Research team in New York, NY.
Your experience and skills Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related position: performing sell-side equity research; developing and supporting relationships with institutional investment clients; linking and reconciling financial statements in Excel including income statements, balance sheets, cash flows and statement of equity; creating analytical scenarios; utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point, including using labels and tags within Excel and Word for linking worksheets and models; and utilizing Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet. Two (2) years of experience must include performing equity research in Medical Technology and Hospital Supplies orthopedic implants and their clinical effect on the anatomy of the hip and knee, spinal implants, procedures and minimally invasive techniques and their clinical effect on the anatomy of the spine; evaluating clinical trial data, including statistical data; and utilizing Pacer. Must be FINRA Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 licensed. CPA license or equivalent required. *LI-N
