High Growth US Wealth Manager seeks ambitious Financial Planning Analyst/Paraplanner - exciting opportunity
Our Client is a US owned and Global money management Wealth Company who oversee over £80 billion in assets are seeking to recruit a Financial Planning Analyst to join their Financial Planning department which provides regulated advice to clients within EMEA. The company has won a number of 'Adviser' awards and also was named top place to work in 2016 by one of the top wealth management magazines. The role is supporting a team of front office Client Adviser Directors and gives the successful individual the opportunity to over time speak with prospective clients. The company is growing and is seeking ambitious and driven Financial Planning Analysts who are seeking longer term to become Financial Advisers subject to how they progress. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning the responsibilities of a Financial Planning Analyst include:
Review prospective clients' existing pension and investment bond arrangements to determine whether a transfer is suitable.
Review and assess the ability of Fisher Investments to manage within existing pension or investment bond structures
Provide direct communication of Financial Planning advice to prospective and/or existing clients
Extensively research client circumstances, analyse output to identify opportunities to improve the clients position including full product and fund research and provide possible solutions
Produce suitability letters
Assist in any project work needed
Assist all internal staff with planning and technical issues
The candidate profile is likely to be:
University Graduate or equivalent(there are exceptions to this if have relevant experience)
Level 4 Qualification - CCI Diploma in Financial Planning/ Regulated Financial Planning preferable.
A minimum of 2 years in the role of Paraplanner or Financial Planning Analyst
Pensions knowledge with experience of writing suitability reports(essential)
Very strong understanding of Financial Planning principles
Strong attention to detail
Ability thrive in a fast paced dynamic team environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
