You will be part of the Coverage Group (over 600 salespeople) and the Latin American Sales teams. This team is responsible for interfacing with retail and institutional clients to introduce DeAM's investment solution and product capabilities in the LatAm region. The newly established position in Jacksonville will support existing senior institutional distribution team members based in the United States in driving client meeting preparation, client meeting follow-up, reporting, competitive positioning, and technical sales support across our suite of solutions and products. As a member of the Coverage Group, and along the side of senior team members, you will develop relationships with prospects, clients, and business partners across the firm. In addition, you will develop deep subject matter knowledge of DeAM's client investment solutions and their use in client portfolios and businesses.
Key responsibilities will include:
Partner with designated sales representatives to develop and maintain business relationships with clients in the Americas regions (specifically in Latin and South America)
Maintain a high level understanding of Deutsche Bank's wide range of investment products and global investment views
Assist in the preparation and tailoring of marketing materials for client meetings and requests
Assist with capturing the needs of the clients as derived from meeting notes and attendance
Be responsible for record maintenance and quality control of, and report generation using our CRM reporting system (Sales Force)
Maintain pipeline reports and analysis on prospects and the deliverables required from other parts of the internal organization
Work with the RFP and data teams to ensure timely completion and delivery of new business proposals and data requests of clients
Build strong partnerships with the members of the Institutional team and internal colleagues across all departments of the firm including corporate communications, product specialists, compliance and others
Work on ad-hoc projects to support sales and management teams as requested
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Skills & Capabilities:
Product knowledge in investment products with experience in capital investment products and Latin American client management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and have an analytical mindset with the ability to deliver key insights through 'out of the box' thinking
Client facing experience is preferred
Pro-active and ability to work independently
Strong financial/reporting and analytical skills
Experience with Salesforce is preferred
Experienced with Excel, Word, Power Point and Access
Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player, able to work with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Execute tactically on a day-to-day basis
BA/BS degree, or equivalent, preferably in business
FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses a plus
Language skills in Spanish is required, Portuguese or both preferred
Strong understanding of the institutional and retail channels, particularly marketing and relationship needs
Experience in business development within the financial services and investment management is a plus
