Analyze and review credit analyses and transaction proposals on both FIs and corporate counterparties in Greater China to ensure the quality of the analytical work and full compliance with global risk policies
Provide credit approval for fixed income, equity and lending transactions; Be able to lead and work independently on complex credit proposals to reach a solution, and manage senior stakeholder relationship and interaction
Manage a team to provide leadership, offer solutions, and cultivate next generation of credit officers
Be responsible for portfolio management and new business initiatives, closely monitor risk events and escalate to senior credit executives
Be able to lead in audit, credit risk review, regulatory initiatives and internal projects pertaining to CRM
Participate in client meetings together with Front Office colleagues to conduct due diligence
Represent CRM in Shared Services and New Business initiatives
Collaborate with the wider North Asia and APAC credit team, covering businesses and counterparties in the other markets
Provide trainings on credit related matters
Travel at times would be required
Fluency in Mandarin and English is required efc-ags1
University graduate with advanced degree preferred
Minimum 15 years in credit risk management area with credit approval authority
Experience in investment banking business and corporate lending
People leadership, strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective communicator, independent thinking and self-starter with hands-on and proactive approach
Collaborative and be prepared to engage people from other locations and units on managing business requests and initiatives
