Our client, a Global Financial Institution is looking for a Compliance Reviews Manager to be responsible for all aspects of their compliance review programme related to the Volcker Rule across the Investment banking business. The individual would help to develop and maintain regulatory standards to enhance and protect the reputation of the firm.
Conduct compliance reviews in line with the Volcker Rule across the bank's Corporate and Investment Banking sector of activity.
Carry out preparation and fieldwork in respect of monitoring and reviews work.
Prepare reports for the key stakeholders on the outcome of compliance review work.
Assist in carrying out compliance risk assessments as well as in implementing risk management tools.
Ensure that issues arising from compliance reviews are addressed and managed effectively.
Monitor changes in regulatory developments and ensure that potential impacts are appropriately managed.
Carry out specific compliance investigations where necessary.
Execute compliance control testing by internal group standards.
The preferred candidate will ideally have a Compliance Monitoring or Audit background gained within Corporate, Investment or Wholesale Bank and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of conducting audit style reviews of a business/product area. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
