Our client is an exceptional private equity fund of funds business, with a hybrid model, seeking out talented investors looking to set up their own dedicated vehicle. The firm will help create a business plan and structure new fund vehicles, often as the only Limited Partner initially. Through this proximity, they are deeply involved in each individual acquisition and the ongoing monitoring of all investments. They work across all European markets and have played a material role in backing many of the most successful new teams to enter the industry in recent years. The firm is looking to hire a young professional for their team dedicated to working with the Emerging Managers on the development of their portfolio assets, and will include an active involvement in pre-deal due diligence, as well as intensive collaboration in the ongoing value creation programme. The role is based near Zurich, Switzerland, with significant travel across Europe.
The focus of the role is the active management of the underlying fund direct positions, including significant involvement in the due diligence processes as well as monthly calls / visits, and in many cases individual deal approvals
Due to its hands-on nature this role will require significant travel across Europe
The right candidate is likely to come from an M&A Analyst programme of a leading investment bank
Top notch analytical skills and commercial judgement are key to this role
