BMI is looking for a highly motivated individual with an extensive knowledge in the Luxembourg fund industry to strengthen its Portfolio Management team.
As a Portfolio Manager you will have responsibility for the regular oversight of all portfolio management related matters a variety of mandates, in particular for Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Debt products. In relation to portfolio management he/she will: - Work in conjunction with the Risk Management and Client Relationship Management teams for the on boarding of new mandates, including the due diligence review of each Investment Advisor or Portfolio Manager - Review of draft fund documentation prior to execution and also the analysis and due diligence of any existing assets or holdings to be retained within the new/existing fund structure - Play a key role in the valuation process of the underlying assets on an ongoing basis - Liaise on a regular basis with the various investment advisors in order to maintain an oversight of the portfolio activity - Perform additional oversight and reporting whereby the approval of the AIFM is required in respect of new acquisitions, disposals, validation of annual operating budgets, capex etc - Preparation for and attendance of various internal committees, in order to assist in presentation of all matters related to the mandates of non-financial assets. - Assistance will also be required to support the portfolio management for the financial asset class mandates
Your profile requirements: - University degree in finance or economics - 3-5 years of relevant experience in the fund industry - Entrepreneurial minded and an autonomous worker - Solution oriented and hands-on - Good knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS - Excellent written and oral command of English and French a minimum - Good understanding of valuation modeling for non financial assets - Detailed knowledge MS Office a necessity, knowledge of Argus Enterprise and Bloomberg would be appreciated
