Maldon Partners are recruiting a New Business Client OnBoarding Manager on a permanent basis for a London based Wealth Management Firm. The role will be focused on New Business on-boarding and requires a candidate who has solid experience of on-boarding retail focused clients and products.
Reporting directly to the Head of Client OnBoarding, the role holder will be responsible for onboarding new clients to the company for all investment types.
On-boarding new clients to the Company. These clients can include individuals, pensions, SPVs, trusts or various other entities.
Analysis and validation of the due diligence / KYC information provided by new investors in light of the relevant regulatory guidelines.
Maintaining a working knowledge of the various facets of the products offered by the Company and how they can be utilised.
Liaise directly with all areas of the Company. All sales flow directly from the Sales teams into the New Business Team and output to the Operational, Compliance and Finance departments.
Risk assessment of new and existing clients, including MiFID categorisation (determination of Retail / Professional / Eligible Counterparty statuses).
Act as a technical specialist of the various products and processes needed for client on-boarding and ongoing servicing.
Asset migrations between providers.
DTC and RVF instructions for asset transfers between counterparties.
Static data creation and cleansing for new and existing clients.
In order to apply for the role you will have:
Over 3 years' experience in an onboarding role at a wealth management organisation.
Financial / Professional qualifications are an advantage.
Excellent understanding of customer due diligence/KYC requirements for retail clients
Good understanding of Client Categorisation criteria under MiFID.
Good computer skills
Salary on offer is c£40,000 - £48,000 depending on experience and is based in the city of London
