From re-designing compliance and risk management first line of defense target operating model to rolling out regulatory change into business operations, you support the Head of Risk and Compliance Change within the risk and compliance first line of defense GI team.
Provide subject matter expertise and support to the Head of Risk and compliance Change to:
Embed group risk management framework, improving minimum standards where this makes business sense
Undertake impact assessments of new emerging regulations
Translate regulatory requirements into business and functional requirements that describe the system, data, process and control changes required to achieve compliance
Mobilising regulatory change programmes - creating project plans and managing the delivery of these programmes
Creating and implementing control frameworks for Conflicts of Interest, Conduct Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Liquidity Risk etc.
Transforming Risk and Compliance processes to increase efficiency and optimise capacity
Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience:
Knowledge and understanding of the current insurance industry regulatory landscape and key regulatory initiatives
Experience of performing regulatory impact assessments
Regulatory change project delivery experience within a management consultancy or an internal change function in the insurance industries
Experience working across all phases of the regulatory project delivery lifecycle including interpretation, requirements analysis, solution design, testing and implementation
Understanding of analytical models across credit, market, operational, liquidity and enterprise risk management
Risk Management Target Operating Model design and/or implementation
Business process design for risk management
The ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging, client-facing environments
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Big 4 consultancy firm prior experience preferable
