A challenging position within the First Line of Defense Support (FLDS) team dedicated to the Business Area Europe with focus on UK/Netherlands/Nordics markets, based in Zurich. You will work in close cooperation with the International Market Head, his market support team, other support functions as Legal and Compliance and other teams within FLDS.
In collaboration with central teams, contribution to the continuous evolution of the Risk and Control Framework of the European business as well as development and implementation of best practice standards for the Business Area and especially the markets UK/NL/Nordics
Conduct risk assessments on behalf of the management and provide guidance to adequately manage potential risks identified
Support business risk management needs of the Front units as well as identify, analyze and mitigate risk patterns
Provide proactive advice and solutions across business risk related topics to the Front units
Support or lead business risk related initiatives and projects to support business and management requests
Interesting platform for personal and professional development in a dynamic global environment with exposure to many different stakeholders and departments within the bank
University degree or banking apprenticeship completed with a higher education
Several years of banking experience, preferably in a front position in Wealth Management and/or within the Risk Management, Compliance or Audit area. Knowledge of the Wealth Management business, products, and front-to-back process would be an advantage
You possess a sound knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape
You bring good process review/risk assessment skills with an understanding of risks and impacts in a banking environment
Sound experience in tackling complex issues, leading or supporting projects and executing initiatives in the context of a large organization
Profound analytical and conceptual skills and a structured, solution oriented approach
Strong communication skills with the ability to support and advise Front units with regards to risk related topics
You have a sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and proactively; you are a good teammate with a can-do attitude and problem solving skills and the willingness to go the extra mile
Fluency in English and preferably in German
