Joining a busy and successful team, this senior role will report to the Head of Equities and in turn to the Head of Investments. You will cover equities globally and should have a track record in broad coverage as well as an international career path behind you, and be fluent in French.
Your role will include the following aspects, but not limited to:
Direct responsibility in all aspects of managing global or regional equity portfolios, as a lead, co- and/or backup PM
Taking and implementing investment decisions within a defined universe of stocks, funds, passive instruments
Portfolio construction, optimization, monitoring, with regards to defined constraints, risk-budget and philosophy
Contributing to continuously enhance investment process, practice, implementation
Reporting and communicating to internal and external parties, including internal deliverables, presentation materials, ad hoc requests
Contribution to building/enhancing views on the asset class, its sub-segments and single-stocks
As a member of the Monthly Equity Committee, contributing to produce insightful and actionable views for the investment strategy on the asset-class
As a member of the Stock Selection Committee, interact with sector analyst and other stakeholders to enforce individual investment thesis
University degree in Economics (Bachelor/Master) + diploma in investment such as CFA / CIIA
At least 7-10 years' of successful experience/proven track record in managing equity portfolios globally, to include but not limited to the European equity market
Proven international experience
Ability to deep-dive into individual company analysis, ideally combined to broad beta allocation capability (regions, sectors)
An expertise in portfolio construction / risk allocation
The ability to work within research-intensive, narrow universe of stocks and funds
An absolute team player, with strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels
French (a must) as well as fluent in English
Happy to relocate to the Geneva, Switzerland area
