We have an opportunity within our Markets Operations team for a Regulatory Control Manager, responsible for ensuring the regulatory reporting obligations for the Commercial Bank are met. In this role you'll be responsible for transaction reporting across a range of regulations and will have opportunities to learn of develop skills in other control disciplines.
The team forms part of a growing function within Markets Operations and operates in a fast paced environment, playing a pivotal role by acting as the interface between Commercial Banking and various functions across Markets Operations. There is a clear focus on providing an exceptional service to external customers and regulators while attaining the highest standard of operational excellence.
As a Regulatory Control Manager, you'll have ownership of regulatory transaction reporting, ensuring we maintain current knowledge of any industry changes. You'll also have ownership and ultimate resolution of stakeholder queries and key client relationships, taking forward issue resolution and implementing solutions.
You'll provide a central point of contact between Commercial Banking Markets and internal support functions across Markets Operations, as well as liaising with other stakeholders across the Group to educate and communicate, in the ever changing regulatory landscape, and implement best practices.
An experienced professional with a background in Regulatory Control, you'll need to have a high level of regulatory interest, awareness and knowledge, as well as proven experience of Compliance frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder and communication skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work within tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. You'll also need to have a good level of understanding of internal risk and control frameworks, policies and procedures including audit and SOX requirements.
Previous experience of working with Financial Markets Products is not essential for this role, however you'll need to achieve competency and commit to complete the ACI qualifications Operations Certificate and Model Code within 6 to 12 months of joining.
