Your new role You are responsible for providing and aligning business objectives (tactical and strategic) with employees and management in designated business functions.You have to formulate partnerships across the business to deliver value-added service on HR related issues and best practice including, but not limited to: collaborate with the HR Director and managers to assess and anticipate HR-related needs, implement and embed global HR/Talent Management initiatives across the function(s), coach and influence leaders and managers around people issues, maintain a solid understanding and working knowledge of the business function and global business strategy, supporting the business strategy locally for local initiatives e.g. new country entry & M&A, facilitate and evaluate internal training, workshops and strategy days as required, provide support and advice to managers in relation to performance/talent development, provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, design and develop career development strategies in collaboration with the Learning and Talent Development Center of excellence, support the Reward team on the annual performance management and reward cycle and any additional initiatives as needed, partner with managers to drive engagement across the organisation, work with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and provide input on workforce planning and acquisition, have a strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment law, drive employee engagement and communications, in collaboration with the Change Management and Internal Communications Director, act as an employee champion and change agent, manage and resolve complex employee relations and case management in conjunction with the HR Advisor. Other duties as reasonably requested.
What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you must hold a Bachelor degree or above in Human Resources, Sales or Marketing. We are looking for someone holding an international background, ideally in the UK and in Asia. The job is based in Hong Kong but you must be able to travel 30% of the time between China and Japan. You must be used to work with a strong international exposure, as HRBP in Asia and be used to work with sales and marketing teams. You must speak English.
