This is an exciting opportunity for a Global Equities Investment Analyst to join an existing high-profile team based in Sydney. This an active investment manager and offers investment capabilities across Australian and global equities, Australian fixed interest and alternative investments. The brand is recognized as a trusted investor by both institutional and retail clients globally.
As a Senior Global Equities Investment Analyst, you will work closely with the Portfolio Managers to analyse global mid and large cap stocks. This fund manager focuses on fundamental bottom up analysis and prides themselves on logical and critical thinking. Further key accountabilities will include identifying money-making investment opportunities which will contribute to fund performance, analyzing and assessing industry structures and company strategies alongside forming views on future outcomes for returns on capital. Investment recommendations are pitched to portfolio managers based locally with analysts clearly and succinctly articulating their views with clarity.
Profiles of interest are those who bring existing equities investment analysis experience, ideally gained from offshore with a preference for European or US markets. Applicants will have a minimum of 5-10 years' experience as an equities analyst and show outstanding academic history. Relevant working rights are essential as well as a willingness to want to be based in Sydney for the long term.
