As part of our continuing focus on providing clients with holistic advice we are looking for an experienced strategic adviser to drive the holistic advice offering in the Adelaide office. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning, the successful candidate will work in conjunction with Financial Advisers to formulate strategies and provide personal advice for high net worth clients and will be incentivised through a salary and bonus structure.
Support revenue growth by working with Financial Advisers (investment advisers) to analyse and manage a client's total wealth position. You will work with them to identify opportunities to expand their client base through referrals by demonstrating the additional value a holistic service provides, but you will not be required to source new clients.
Formulation and presentation of strategic advice for high net worth clients including wealth creation, tax effective investment strategies, superannuation, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning and philanthropy.
Preparation and construction of compliant, comprehensive Statements of Advice for new and existing clients including paraplanning responsibilities.
Preparation of comprehensive financial modelling utilising Xplan.
Provision of technical support to Financial Advisers and remaining up to date on legislative and industry changes.
Build a network within the Company and maintain positive and productive team relationships.
Provide the highest quality of service and constantly strive to enhance the integrity and reputation of the company.

Technical / Specialist Skills / Industry Competencies
Detailed technical knowledge across a broad range of financial planning strategies and holistic financial planning strategy development including the advice areas of SMSF's, superannuation and retirement planning, personal insurance, investment structures, estate planning and philanthropy.
Extensive knowledge of the financial planning industry and legislative framework.
Statement of advice preparation and construction.
Experience utilising Xplan for the construction of Statements of Advice including modelling/projections.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
University degree qualified with CFP accreditation
Registered tax adviser
SMSF specialist accreditation preferred
Minimum work experience required for this role
5 years or more direct financial planning experience with responsibility for building and maintaining client relationships and a particular focus on strategy development for clients.
Continuing professional development as required.
