Our client is an international Financial Services involved in Private Equity & Real Estate investment funds. He is currently looking for a ChiefCompliance Officer. This person will be in charge of the Compliance Department and will manage a team. He/she will work directly with the Group Chief Compliance Officer based in the USA.
Key responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:
Developing and managing the compliance of the company;
Ensuring the ongoing identification assessment and management of the compliance risk relating to the current and future activities;
Performing AML/KYC procedure to fund clients and individual funds;
Following the evolution of compliance programs and ensuring that they are in line with applicable laws, rules, regulations and relevant business risks as well as corporate requirements;
Money Laundering Reporting Officer;
Drafting Compliance reports as necessary to internal or external parties;
Liaising with Group Chief Compliance Officer;
Being responsible for Board Meetings reports and for presenting them;
Managing a team of senior compliance officers;
Participating in projects linked to new regulatory or policy requirements.
Education & Background:
Master Degree/BAC+5 in Law, Finance, Compliance or similar;
At least 5 years of experience in a Compliance role within the funds' industry;
Excellent command of French and English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of any additional languages will be considered as an advantage;
Experience in people management;
Good knowledge about relevant rules and regulations (AML/KYC, CTF, Due Diligence AIFMD, FATCA, CRS...);
Team player personality, well organised and autonomous;
Entrepreneurial mind set;
Strong computer skills;
Excellent communication skills.
