Real Staffing is currently working with this growing financial services challenger brand to help them build their Credit Risk Oversight function. This role would suit someone who has gained experience in either a First or Second line capacity.
This is a new role in their organisation to lead and develop the second line oversight of the credit risk, assessing the credit risk planning, providing independent challenge to the credit risk management function, and developing independent insight across credit portfolios to ensure that credit risk levels and appetite are consistent with capacity, credit risk policies are fit to purpose and strategy execution delivers the expected outcomes.
You will review the framework and associated reporting, created by the first line to manage credit risk and deliver periodic assurance that they are consistent with the bank-wide Risk Management Framework. You will also review and provide second line opinion on credit risk reporting, for inclusion in Executive and Board level reporting by the CRO. You will provide independent second line opinion on all first line proposals relating to credit risk. This includes, but is not limited to, risk appetite, proposed score cut offs, credit risk strategies, collections and recoveries strategies, impairment model overrides and impact assessments relating to changes in regulation. Provide further insight through deep dive Credit Risk thematic reviews.
