Our client is a major global bank with strong balance sheet and clear growth strategy for the region. Due to continued growth, new headcount has been created within Compliance.
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, you assist in the development and execution of the department strategy. You will be responsible for Compliance matters for Singapore and work with the Compliance counterparts in the region in delivering high standard of regulatory and advisory compliance across the businesses. You will ensure that the business is conducted in a manner that is consistent with Group's and / or Bank's policies and standards, and in compliance with all regulations and laws of the relevant jurisdictions. You will keep abreast with the regulatory changes, assess impact on the businesses, advise on necessary course of actions and develop training plans for the region. You will deputise the Head and bring thought leadership to the team.
You will have at least 10 – 15 years' experience including compliance supporting Corporate Banking and Investment Banking products and services. You are meticulous, driven, objective and commercial in your approach without compromising the compliance standards in protecting the bank. You possess strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Experience in conducting training is preferred.
