A Senior Wealth Strategy Analyst is a professional who, under the direction and tutelage of a senior financial advisor, runs all aspects of portfolio management for private investors, including reviewing asset allocation alignment with models, runs in-depth research inquires to calculate estimated taxes on complex portfolio maneuvers, summarizes conference calls reviewing funds and alternative investments, runs highly complex performance reports with dozens of inputs; and suggests and engineers improvements in the portfolio management process. An analyst is an member whose compensation grows with the team.
Qualities sought: Extremism in detail orientation -- the desire to make a masterpiece of client portfolios, individually and collectively. Extraordinary intellectual curiosity -- the need to know why something is out of place, doesn't fit, is illogical, or doesn't add up. Outstanding empathy -- always treating others in precisely the same way that we ourselves want to be treated: with speed, enthusiasm, care, knowledge, wisdom, and accuracy. The heart of a psychologist -- ability to listen without speaking for long periods of time and understand what the speaker is saying.
CFA Level I, II, or III. Excel proficiency. 4 year degree. CAIA preferred.
