Assist investment team with portfolio analytics related to portfolio construction, portfolio monitoring, performance measurement, risk management, market surveillance and investment research. This will require downloading, manipulating, organizing and maintaining data from Bloomberg and other data vendors.
Prepare periodic investment reports, as well as client facing materials including portfolio reviews, scenario analysis, and inputs to marketing materials.
Produce weekly / monthly performance attribution and risk reports for investment portfolios using the Bloomberg portfolio analytical framework and other risk systems.
Coordinate and prepare commentaries and other ad hoc reports for management reporting and other publications.
Skills & Knowledge:
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on working experience of Bloomberg. Knowledge of Bloomberg portfolio analytics functions would be a strong positive.
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and willingness to develop proficiency.
Computer programming skills are an advantage.
Highly numerate and keen communicator.
Good spoken and written English communication skills. Ability to read Chinese is essential.
Candidates with experience in middle office or fund administration / fund accounting are welcome.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Flexible and reliable.
Ability to generate ideas and develop innovative solutions.
Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure and a keenness to learn and contribute.
