Reporting to the Executive Director & Acting Head of International Asset Allocation
Working closely with the team head and contributing to the management of a USD-dominated global equity portfolio
Undertaking economic analysis, producing financial modeling for major global economies, and monitoring closely on political and macro events impacting our portfolio
Preparing regular updates, reports and presentations for the team and HQ on the latest economic/political/market developments
Supporting portfolio management by monitoring portfolio performance and risk, as well as providing various inputs for scenario analysis
Providing support to business development and sales department
Must have minimum of 5 years of the relevant experience
Holder of Postgraduate's degree or preferably a PhD in Economics or related field
Strong research and analytical skill. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in analyzing both economic and political situations in developed markets. A good knowledge of emerging markets a definite advantage
Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to critically analyze various ad-hoc investment matters and meet various deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player
Excellent command of written and spoken English & Mandarin. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (with knowledge in VBA a plus) and PowerPoint, as well as Bloomberg/Factset/other data providers
