General Profile :
Employee will contribute to the Company's overall supervision of agent and field manager social networking and e-mail activity. He or she will have primary responsibility for reviewing and approving social networking static content, as well as ongoing activity that calls for review. Employee will also contribute to the monitoring of agent e-mail, whether outgoing, incoming, or internal, consistent with Company and industry requirements. Finally, employee will manage multiple assignments that carry over to other supervisory and compliance functions, including but not limited to ad hoc reviews/investigations, and other miscellenaeous items.
Review and provide feedback on agent and field manager outgoing, incoming, and internal e-mail, to ensure compliance with applicable Company and regulatory rules.
Compile and report on email statistic and trends to department head and provide improvement opportunities.
Manage Eagle reporting and field distribution.
Perform quarterly gift log/FUEL reconciliation.
Review and approve agent reinstatement requests.
Oversee the Virginia Securities project.
Oversee DNC process related to state notification and payment.
Manage multiple, varying responsibilities, in response to regulatory and/or Company procedural changes and red flags requiring attention.
Functional Knowledge :
FINRA Series 7 and 24
Candidate will need to understand both Company and FINRA rules regarding static content on social networking sites, as well as Company and FINRA rules regarding electronic communications. Candidate will need to have at least a basic knowledge of NYL products and services to do this job effectively.
As reflected above, candidate will need to understand the business of New York Life to be in a position to appropriately flag and address items of concern in social networking posts and/or e-mail.
Problem Solving :
Must have the ability to exercise good judgment, be a self-starter, and be proactive to effectively manage situations that are "in the gray."
Decision Making/ Nature of Impact :
Must also have excellent organizational skills in order to manage peaks and valleys of volume requiring review.

Excellent written and verbal skills, in order to effectively provide feedback to agents and managers as necessary.
