Our client is a well known international bank based in London with a strong presence and platform within FICC markets. They would like to make a key strategic hire in the shape of an Fixed Income Sales person to further strengthen their London based BeNeLux institutional sales team. The team currently cover a mix of real money accounts, central and private banks.
The ideal person will have at least 6 years of experience marketing credit and rates products to financial institutions based in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. The client will consider candidates currently working in an Fixed Income Sales role at another bank. Successful candidates will need to have strong knowledge of the FICC market and product spectrum and be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of European markets from a macro point of view. Ideally, the person will have transferable client relationships upon joining the bank. The current sales team already covers a large number of institutional clients and has long standing, strong relationships with European institutions.
In this role you will work closely with FICC trading, research and structuring teams. The person will need to be a good team player who is able to work collaboratively in a team where clients are often shared. Most importantly, the person needs to show high energy and intensity and have a proactive approach. Fluency in another European language is desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international bank in a position within an already established team. The position is based in London with flexibility on travelling to Europe to meet clients.
