This is a totally new created role and therefore offers a set of circumstances to really make your mark. This represents a rare and unique career opportunity
You will ideally be located and living in the North of England
Forming part of the UK Distribution Team, you will be focused predominantly on the North of England in and around the main financial centres of Leeds, Sheffield, York, Manchester, Liverpool etc.
The role will be very broad and you will need to be able to take a sophisticated approach to the role, with a willingness to promote / articulate not only your own views but those of the employer
Focused on the Group Channels (although not exclusively to), your focus will be Financial Advisors using the UK platform business, a market leading advisor network and a number of ties high net worth private client advisory businesses
The purpose of the role is to educate / demonstrate the investment management expertise of the business to the group channel clients, with a view to promoting relevant multi-asset fund solutions as well as the retention of existing funds
Through effective understanding of client portfolio strategy you will better be able to help clients obtain a greater appreciation of their objectives and the portfolio strategies offered by the business, combined with an understanding of the dynamics of the markets
The above will be achieved through regular client meetings as well as attendance and presentation at relevant industry conferences and roadshows
You will reside in the North of England, and, have a strong sense around multi-asset portfolio solutions and fund sales
With a strong technical foundation in finance and economics, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of global economics, regulatory developments, knowledge around a breadth of investment products / funds and financial instruments
It is likely that you will have completed a professional industry qualification such as IMC, CFA or similar
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences, along with an in depth understanding of the UK advisor market
Strong client service, fund sales, client retention and understanding of multi-asset solutions
Ability and experience to present at relevant conferences and roadshows
Be able to work fairly autonomously, and, with a dynamic "can-do" work ethic
Be consultative and quality focused
