What is the opportunity? To provide the RBC business with the best possible technology support. To be part of the existing service delivery team managing the service being provided to the business, maintaining standards, improving delivery and driving change through innovation. Key focus on VIP support and collaboration tools to proactively drive technology solutions in conjunction with the global teams, being a technology representative for GTI to the business.
What will you do?
Maintain and develop service levels across the group.
Manage service issues across multiple business groups providing solutions where necessary and escalating accordingly. Highlight and improve on service and process gaps that may exist
Provide IT service solutions for the European region aligned to strategic plans and priorities
Work closely with other service delivery managers across Europe to delivery appropriate solutions. Where necessary get the support of the Global T&O organization to provide solutions for the region. Identify opportunities to improve the service with a focus on Collaboration tools and innovation.
Must be customer service oriented and business facing to provide VIP support and converse at the senior levels
Enhance IT efficiency and effectiveness by leveraging common/enterprise-wide technology solutions
Able to collaborate with the existing High Performing team
Technical proficient in multiple disciplines. Able to understand the technology and hold their own in a technical discussion
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
Good understanding of the core technologies and processes used within IT Service Delivery & Support
Good understanding of tools and techniques to support effective delivery of mandate.
Define effective control to enable the balance throughout project work against the protection of existing production services
Provide effective engagement on projects to ensure that solutions are monitored, relevant and recoverable.
