The incumbent is responsible for reviewing the legal agreements pertaining to sales and distributions of investment funds and to provide compliance and legal advice to the sub-business units within the Managed Investments Department.
Advise and review legal documents pertaining to the sales and distributions of investment funds - encompassing mutual funds, private equity funds, and hedge funds
Active involvement in ensuring that product partners adhere to relevant FATCA and AML requirements
Provide compliance and legal advice to the sub-business units within the Managed Investments Department
Initiate and lead the implementation of controls to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements
Responsible for compliance, audit assessments and projects with internal/external parties
Responsible for adherence to due diligence/AML requirements by the Bank's product partners
At least 10 years relevant experience
Highly organized and detail / efficiency orientated
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player and an individual who is dynamic and engaging.
Good commercial acumen
Bachelor / University Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics or in Law
