HEAD OF INVESTMENT COMMUNICATIONS, ASSET MANAGEMENT
BASED CITY, LONDON
Our client a leading player in the Asset Management sector is looking for an experienced Investment Communications professional (from an asset management / investment management background) to head up the investment communications/investment writing team. You will need solid recent experience in investment writing (in asset mgt), ideally across a range of asset classes and with some people management experience (preferred).
Investment reporting, producing commentary for newsletters, client reports, fact sheets and content for presentations.
Production of thought leadership articles, starting with research on investment-specific topics, all the way through to completion of informative and thought-provoking pieces.
Idea generation of new topics to explore.
production of articles and reports to keep clients informed of macroeconomic issues.
Internal stakeholder management, working with product specialists and fund managers to ensure investment commentaries reflect market activity and encompass market predictions.
Working with marketing to support specific fund launches and communicate the investment process through campaigns and publications.
Working as part of a team you will revise and edit each other's work, ensuring everything is adapted to the client channel and appropriate style for print, web or email
Solid senior level experience in Investment writing/investment communications (current/recent) gained within an Asset Management environment is essential
Excellent understanding of investment management products (Fixed Income, Equities, Alternatives and Multi-Assets) and the overall economic environment.
Experience of managing a small team is preferred
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to develop relationships with a variety of internal departments and managers.
Strong project management skills and able to work to deadlines
Strong written skills
