Description: Citi's Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) is seeking to hire an Assistant Vice President. Based in Singapore the role sits within the CIB Business Management Group (BMG) reporting to the CIB ASEAN Business Manager with matrix reporting into the Asia Pacific CIB Regional KYC Risk Manager based in Hong Kong. Responsibilities:
Work with Global, Regional and country partners within CIB and as well as Compliance, O&T, etc. to develop strategic solutions for KYC related matters
Liaise with Compliance and O&T KYC Ops personnel on the implementation of KYC policy
Assist in the oversight of the ASEAN KYC Documentation Group (KDG)
Responsible for analysis of data and preparation of escalations to Senior Management to ensure timely execution of KYC record completions
Responsible for evaluating internal KYC reports, databases and operations to produce strategic and operational analyses inclusive of quality controls
Coordination with CIB management, bankers, and Ops on various KYC-related initiatives
Assist with regulatory and audit inquiries as appropriate
Assist with execution of the In-Business Control function including but not limited to -
Annual Risk Assessment (ARA) execution;
Issue / CAP monitoring;
KRI/KOR monitoring and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
5-10 years of professional work experience, financial services preferred;
Client services experience, front office experience preferred;
Experience working in a global dynamic environment;
Ability to work independently and under short deadlines;
Attention to detail;
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide insights;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Experience with MS Office tools;
Experience and knowledge of operational risk management and / or AML and KYC a plus;
